I'm Leon, a web designer and developer based in London.

My journey began with a hyper-focus on music. I was obsessed, playing guitar for 8 hours a day. I studied at BIMM Dublin, and the day I was accepted was one of the happiest of my life. During my music career, I played hundreds of live gigs and met some outstanding people who went on to become high-profile musicians. However, during my studies, I realised that music wasn't the career path for me, and shortly after university, I stopped playing.

After university, I spent many years working in construction and bartending. I didn't see either of these jobs as a valid career path for me, but it's what I found myself doing. I realised that I was only working to pay my bills and wasn't in love with the life I was living.

I was lucky enough to benefit from the great Covid reset. I rekindled my love for reading, getting through over 50 books in my first year back, in the genres of psychology, computer science, self-help, and business. During this time, I discovered website development as my career path. I retrained and began working as a software developer, and I love every minute of it. I don't have a single doubt about my career path and where my life is going now. While playing music, I never had a moment without doubt. It's great to have found my purpose in life.

Beyond coding, you'll often find me running, swimming, cycling, or practising callisthenics. After completing my first ultramarathon, I've set my sights on even greater challenges ahead, such as an Ironman and more ultramarathons.
